An excursion to the ancient capital of Georgia, the beautiful city of Mtskheta, where the rivers Kura and Aragvi join their waters. MIFP and GTU are organizing, associated to the 90 years of GTU festivities, the International School on New Materials and Renewable Energy that will be held at the Georgian Technical University in the fascinating atmosphere of Tbilisi from 19 to 23 of September 2012.
This School is aimed at the PhD students and young researchers specialised in the Material Science.
Lectures will be given by internationally leading experts in new materials and systems such as graphene, carbon nanotubes, new superconductors, photonic crystals, metamaterials, microcavities.
A special session will be organised on the organic and hybrid systems for photovoltaics.
As a result of the school we expect new international collaboration projects.
